About
Richard Sandoval Hospitality
A Family Making Global Impact
An internationally recognized contemporary Latin restaurant group — and a shop built from the same kitchens.
ShopSandoval is the retail home of Richard Sandoval Hospitality, founded by Chef Richard Sandoval. Every piece we sell is chosen the way we choose for our own kitchens: cookware we actually cook on, knives we actually use, and pantry staples we actually reach for.
A Family Business
The Sandoval family is the heart behind Richard Sandoval Hospitality — a multi-generational, family-owned and operated group rooted in authenticity, cultural pride, and global ambition. Founded by Chef Richard Sandoval and now evolving with the next generation, Giancarlo and Isabella Sandoval, the family brings together culinary artistry, strategic leadership, and a shared commitment to honoring their Latin heritage. Tradition meets innovation, and every restaurant — and every product on this site — reflects the spirit of family.

How We Choose What We Sell
We work directly with a small group of makers — Swiss cookware forged since 1974, knives hand-finished in Portland, cast iron poured in Pennsylvania, spices ground in small batches in Asheville, chiles sourced from the growing regions of Puebla and Oaxaca. We carry few things, and we carry them because they earn their place on a working counter.
Where a product uses a traditional nonstick coating, we say so plainly on its page. Where it doesn't, we tell you that too. You can read every maker's story on the products they make.
