From the Maker

Stargazer Cast Iron was founded in 2015 by housewares designer Peter Huntley, who hand-sanded, seasoned, and shipped the company's first run of 250 skillets from his own garage. Today the company crafts its cookware entirely in the USA from its headquarters in Allentown, Pennsylvania, melting domestically sourced, primarily recycled iron at 2,800°F and finishing each piece with a signature seasoning blend of canola, grapeseed, and sunflower oils that gives the skillets their trademark bronze color. The result is thoughtfully designed, American-made cast iron built on quality, transparency, and sustainable production.
