MASA was born in Los Angeles from a simple frustration: its founders loved tortilla chips but couldn't find any made with ingredients they trusted. So they made their own, with just three natural ingredients — organic corn, grass-fed beef tallow, and sea salt — and no seed oils, preservatives, or artificial colors. The corn is prepared through nixtamalization, the traditional process of cooking corn with naturally occurring minerals, yielding a chip with deep, authentic corn flavor.
